Oatey Sure-Vent series 160 branch / 500 stack DFU, PVC air admittance valve (AAV). Solvent welds over 3″ PVC pipe or inside a 4″ PVC fitting. AAV acts as a one-way (check) valve, permitting air to enter the plumbing drainage system when negative pressures develops. Replaces the vent pipe where permitted.
