Description
Note: product title indicates boiler’s Net AHRI (Net IBR) ratingHighlander series boiler is a fan-assisted (Power Vent) type cast iron boiler, which can also be converted to Direct Vent (sealed combustion) using included kit (see product pictures) – no chimney required.
Fan-forced design allows for up to 50ft of vertical or horizontal vent length (using 4″ pipe, or up to 15ft – using 3″ pipe – see manual for details) and utilizes Cat. III (AL29-4C) vent.
Highlander is a cost-attractive, quality boiler with USA-made heat-exchanger and industry-leading, familiar controls (concealed behind easy-access front panel) and is ideally suited for both new installations and renovations where chimney venting is impractical or not possible.
Boiler includes:Direct Vent Installation Kit (optional installation, room combustion air setup also acceptable), Vent Adapter, HydroStat 3200 Control, Honeywell Step-Opening Redundant Gas Valve, Taco 007e Circulator w/ Flanges, Spark Ignition w/ Continuous Retry, Drain Valve, Pressure Relief Valve (Watts or Apollo brand), Temperature & Pressure Gauge and Manifold.
